Presentation

The problem of plastic waste mismanagement is well known.

The European Commission is aware of this and has established different strategies to quadruple Europe’s plastic recycling capacity by 2030. This will only be possible if different aspects of plastic article production are improved, if recycling techniques are improved and if recycled plastics are modified to improve their quality so they qualify for applications where they previously did not meet requirements.

Improving the quality of recycled plastics partly depends on being able to reformulate these materials with additives that make them recover or improve their rheological and mechanical properties, their compatibility with other polymers, their resistance to processing and UV radiation, and aspects directly related to processing plant performance. All these points will be discussed in this webinar with the aim of proposing strategies to improve the quality of recycled plastic materials.
