Analysis of Certificates and Development of Calibration Procedures
Presentation
Calibration certificates contain the data that reflect the behaviour of a measuring equipment during the calibration process of the same, and allow the quality of the measurements provided by this equipment to be evaluated.
The understanding and evaluation of the content of this document is of great importance, since it allows the person responsible for the calibrated equipment to assess the suitability of this equipment for the performance of the functions for which it is intended, and the consequent decision making on the use of this equipment.
The correct preparation of a calibration procedure is a great help when carrying out internal calibrations of measuring equipment.
The development of these procedures will allow in-depth knowledge of the calibration process described and the handling of the equipment, as well as the optimisation of time and resources in the calibration process, correctly establishing criteria for the acceptance and rejection of calibrations and adjusting their frequency.

Objectives
- To provide participants with the necessary knowledge to be able to interpret and extract information from calibration certificates for equipment such as scales, digital thermometers or external micrometers
- To know the contents and main calculations to be performed after receiving a certificate, such as those corresponding to corrections and uncertainties of use, as well as the criteria for acceptance or rejection of the most commonly used equipment
- To provide participants with the necessary knowledge to be able to draw up procedures that, in form and content, provide precise instructions on how to carry out a calibration as well as additional information on all the parameters and calculations necessary to verify the suitability of the measuring equipment
Addressed to
- Technicians and personnel of companies and laboratories of any industrial sector that develop their activity in the areas of Quality, Metrology, Laboratory, Calibration, Audits, Technical Offices, Product Engineering, etc.
- Priority will be given to registrations from associated industrial companies and customers.
