Additive manufacturing for medical sector
This online training will give a complete overview of Additive Manufacturing as technology linked with the potential uses and applications for the healthcare sector.
Open all year round
Presentation
Additive Manufacturing (AM) is proving to be a disruptive technology with huge potential in the healthcare sector.
So why hasn't it been integrated globally in hospitals? There are several barriers to its integration in the healthcare sector, such as the lack of knowledge and skills on the use of the technology and the related organizational models. This course aims to favor its integration through healthcare professionals working in hospitals (physicians, surgeons, biotechnologists, ...) and engineering students with a future in the healthcare sector.
